Class experience
This section is Part VI of the Flute 101 series. Students should be familiar with the following scales: C Major, F Major, B-flat Major, E-flat Major, A-flat Major, G Major, D Major, A Major and E Major plus a two octave chromatic scale. They should also know their arpeggios for these scales. Students will review the whole book. Students will conclude their study of Flute 101 by reviewing the whole book and will consolidate their knowledge of C Major, four major flat scale and four major sharp scales and arpeggios.
Homework Offered
Students at this level should aim to practice five times a week for thirty minutes a day. They should start their practice with a warm-up, review several key scales and then work on whatever page they have been assigned for that week. They should be working on a solo per week.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
