In this one time class, students will discover if they want to begin learning the flute.
Class experience
Students will learn the basics of flute playing - breathing, note reading and fingering. Students will need to purchase a pinwheel and a pencil to use in class. They will learn facts about the flute - flute is a C instrument and plays in treble clef. Flute players need to focus on breathing, embouchure (mouth formation) and fingering at the beginning of their learning to play the flute.
