In this one-time class, the students will learn about spring trees. The students will be making their own spring tree art project.
Class Experience
In this one-time class, the students will learn that during the springtime, there are specific trees e.g flowery spring trees. The students will be shown a picture of a flowery spring tree. The student can tell the class what they like about that tree. The student will learn about the part of the tree. The students will be making their own flowery spring tree art project with paint, sponges and pink tissue paper for the flowers for their tree. At the end of the class, the students can show...
paper- white construction paper, white card stock or white drawing paper paint- tempera paint or acrylic paint variety of colours of paint including brown and green tissue paper -pink ( pre-cut the tissue paper into squares before class) glue - white glue kitchen sponges ( a different sponge for each colour of paint) place the paint on a paper plate etc... optional a smock optional pom poms, cotton balls etc...
Please supervise your student when they are doing their art project.
