Description

Class Experience

Let your imagination blossom in this fun class! This class will teach young learners how to press flowers and plants into beautiful works of art. First step is to get out in nature and collect the best flowers/plants you can find. Next we will "pound" or "press" our flowers onto paper. We will be left with beautiful colors and shapes left behind from our pressings. Together we will use these pressings to inspire us to create beautiful doodles! There is no experience required and all drawing...

Paper 
Clear Plastic - Recycle something! Plastic bag, cleaned leftover food container, packing material, page protector, etc. 
Fresh Flowers or Plants - Picked just before class is best, but they can be stored in a plastic bag for a day before class. 
Rubber Mallet or Hammer
Hard Working Surface - Table or Floor where they can use the rubber Mallet
Pens/Markers for Doodling

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
