Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this class we will cover what is multiplication, repeated addition, creating arrays, skip counting, patterns in multiplication, and memorization tricks/hints. In teaching this topic I break the multiplication table into 4 quadrants and we concentrate on one section each day. Each week we will also cover one aspect of understanding multiplication and then we will concentrate on memorizing facts. You have access to all material for 30 days after the class is scheduled to end if you need more time to finish the work. Welcome! My name is Debbie and I am a certified teacher with a Bachelors of Science in Education with a concentration in the visual arts. I also hold Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on math and science. I have been lucky enough throughout my career to have taught grades K through 6 and be a math and reading interventionist.
