Let’s take a deep dive into seven severe weather systems in this four week flexible schedule course. There will be no live meetings but instead your learner will watch prerecorded lessons on each of the seven types of severe weather that we will cover. Each week your learner will be required to complete worksheets and fun science experiments. Your learner will also participate in classroom discussions with the other learners enrolled. Your learner will create their own severe weather workbook...
After completing this course, your learner will have a basic understanding of each of the seven weather systems, how they form, they damage they cause and how we can detect and forecast them.
Each week will include videos, activities and discussions to participate in nearpod
This class uses nearpod. You will have to follow a link to access all lessons, videos and activities. Several files will be included with enrollment. You will need supplies for each science experiment.
