Flexible schedule course for popular Elements of Art class; perfect for beginning art students!

Class experience

*Students will learn about the Elements of Art and how to use each element to create technically sound works of art.
*Students will practice effectively assessing their own work and the work of their class peers.
*Students will practice using proper art terminology when discussing artwork.
*Students will practice effective time-management in this self-paced course.
I am passionate about students learning the elements of art and principles of design in order to give them the proper framework for creating successful works of art. With this knowledge, students can then add their own personal style and ideas to make truly original works of art. The elements of art and principles of design help to give a more concrete approach to art-making which in turn, allows more students to feel successful making art. Any students planning to progress through any levels of art should have this knowledge.

I teach this course yearly at the summer camp that I hold at my art studio and students are thrilled with the work that they are able to complete during this course.
