In this flex class students will watch and create videos, fill out a conjugation chart, and complete activity sheets in order to learn 32 common verbs and several of their conjugations. We will learn present, present continuous, past, and future tense conjugations. Our verbs will include regular and irregular divided into 3 categories: -AR, -ER/-IR, and Irregular verbs. The final class will introduce sentence structure and several additional vocabulary words to show students how to put sentences together. Spanish sentence structure is different than English, so it is important to learn the order of the parts of a sentence. 
Each Week I will post up to 3 short videos explaining the material for the week. I will also upload the conjugation charts as needed for students to fill out. There will be a homework assignment each week for students to fill out and submit. Students will also be required to submit a short video each week using the vocabulary. Instructions for the video will be included in the homework assignment sheet. 
Students will have an additional group/interactive activity during several of the weeks.
Weekly Schedule:
Week One: AR Verbs and Present Tense Conjugations. I will upload videos containing information on pronouns, verbs, and present tense conjugation for ar verbs. I will upload the printable chart and the homework sheet. Students will submit an image of their completed chart, the completed homework sheet, and their short video assignment. Instructions for the video will be included in the homework assignment sheet. Students will post a video of the SILENTLY acting out 3 of the verbs from the list. They will then need to comment on all other videos and guess what 3 verbs are being acted out.

Week Two: ER & IR Verbs and Present Tense Conjugations. I will upload videos containing information on verbs and present tense conjugation for er and ir verbs. I will upload the printable chart and the homework sheet. Students will submit an image of their completed chart, the completed homework sheet, and their short video assignment. Instructions for the video will be included in the homework assignment sheet. Students will also complete a Kahoot! Challenge.

Week Three: Irregular Verbs and their Conjugations Part One. I will upload 3 videos each containing 2 irregular verbs and their conjugations in present, past, and future tenses. I will also upload the homework sheet, and the printable chart that students will use for both week 3 and week 4. Students will submit an image of their chart, the completed homework sheet, and their short video assignment. Instructions for the video will be included in the homework assignment sheet. 

Week Four: Irregular Verbs and their Conjugations Part Two. I will upload slides containing 6 irregular verbs and their conjugations in present, past, and future tenses. I will also upload the homework sheet. Students will continue to use the same chart from week 3. Students will submit an image of their completed chart, the completed homework sheet, and their short video assignment. Instructions for the video will be included in the homework assignment sheet. 

Week Five: Present Continuous. I will upload a video about the verb endings and a video containing examples. Students will continue to fill out the ar and er/ir verb charts they began in weeks 1 and 2. I will also upload their homework sheet for the week. Students will submit a picture of their verb charts, their homework sheet, and their video assignment. Instructions for the video will be included in the homework assignment sheet. 

Week Six: Past and Future Tense for AR Verbs. I will upload 2 videos. The first will be past tense conjugations. The second will be future tense conjugations. Future tense is the same for both ar and er/ir verbs. This video will be uploaded in both week 6 and week 7.  Students will continue to use their verb charts. Students will submit a picture of their verb charts, their homework sheet, and their video assignment. Instructions for the video will be included in the homework assignment sheet. Students will need to upload an additional video stating an activity they have done in the past and an activity they will do in the future.

Week Seven: Past and Future Tense for ER & IR Verbs. I will upload 2 videos. The first will be past tense conjugations. The second will be future tense conjugations. Future tense is the same for both ar and er/ir verbs. This video will be uploaded in both week 6 and week 7. Students will continue to use their verb charts. Students will submit a picture of their verb charts, their homework sheet, and their video assignment. Instructions for the video will be included in the homework assignment sheet. Students will comment on other student videos from week 6 and state whether have done or will do the activities named.

Week Eight: Sentence Building and Extra Vocabulary. I will upload 3 videos this week. The first video about the extra vocabulary. The next about Spanish sentence structure. The last one of example sentences. Students will submit their homework page and their video assignment. Instructions for the video will be included in the homework assignment sheet.
