This 10-week course is the second in a four-part series designed to prepare high school students for a career in photography. Building on the foundation of Business of Photography 1, this course focuses on the practical aspects of running a photography business, including workflow management, pricing models, and business planning. Please do not enroll in this course first without taking the pre requisite unless you are proficient in using manual mode quickly and know what type of photography you would like to offer. It is best to take these courses in sequence rather than beginning with the 2nd course. Students will learn how to calculate their expenses, develop a pricing structure, and streamline their processes to work efficiently with clients. Alongside the business lessons, students will continue refining their photography skills, sharing their work for feedback, and critiquing both their peers' and the instructor's photos. By the end of the course, students will have created a complete business plan and taken steps toward launching their photography careers. This self-paced course offers weekly video lessons where students will explore essential business concepts like pricing, workflows, and financial planning. Each week includes opportunities for students to share their work, discuss key photography business ideas, and receive personalized feedback. Learners will engage in photography critiques, complete practical assignments, and build their business plans throughout the course. The combination of business and creative work ensures that students are not only developing their technical photography skills but also gaining the knowledge they need to start a successful photography business.
