In this 5-week flexible interactive drawing course, learners will learn how to sketch and draw proportionate human features such as nose, eyes from front view. The learner will learn different sketching and shading techniques and use tools such as different types of pencils (H, HB, 2B 4B, etc.), Sketchbook, erasers, and blending stumps. Following is the schedule for each week Week 1-learn to draw and shade proportionate eyes: front view Week 2-learn to draw and shade proportionate nose: front view Week 3-learn to draw and shade proportionate mouth: front view Week 4- learn to draw and proportionate ear: front view Week5-Learn to draw and shade straight hairs. At the end of this course, with all the above lessons and consistent practice, the learner will gain confidence in drawing human features from the front view. CLASS FORMATE: Please note that this class is a "FLEX" class, meaning there are NO LIVE MEETINGS and all interactions between the students and the teacher happen on the class page. At the beginning of every week (Monday at 9:00 am CST), I will upload the pre-recorded video which includes lectures at the beginning and followed by step-by-step real-time drawing demonstrations so learners can follow along with the instructor, Learners can sketch at their own pace. No need to wait on others or feel rushed. HOMEWORK/ASSIGNMENT: The learner will get a week to finish each sketch and upload a photo to the classroom page on a designated post or send it to the instructor through private messaging for feedback and encouragement.

1. Sketchbook/ Drawing papers (Extra paper for practice) 2. Pencils: HB /#2 for light drawing, Darker pencils preferably 2B, 4B 3. Eraser (kneaded / basic) 4. Ruler 5. blending stumps or Q tip or soft facial tissues (Kleenex) or paintbrush for blending

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
