By the end of this course, students will have a comprehensive understanding of the process of buying and selling property, including researching neighborhoods, finding the right property, negotiating a deal, and closing a sale. They will also gain an understanding of the basics of mortgages, including types of loans, interest rates, and down payments.
The teacher has extensive experience in real estate and finance, including buying and selling properties, understanding mortgages, and financial management. Jo bought his first house at the age of 18 with money he made from his teenage odd jobs business. He has grown his investment portfolio (buying many properties) over the years and has property investments in both the USA and the UK, which makes him highly qualified to teach this course. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with Honors and has over 20 years of teaching experience.
Homework Offered
Students will complete a variety of assignments, including research projects, budgeting exercises, and mock negotiations. Homework will take approximately 1-2 hours per week.
Assessments Offered
Learner progress will be assessed through quizzes, homework assignments, and class participation. There will be no letter grades given, but feedback will be provided to help students improve their understanding of the material.

This class does not contain any content that may be upsetting or scary to learners. Parents should be aware that the class will cover topics related to buying and selling property, as well as mortgages, which may be more advanced topics.
