Class Experience
Part 2 of 2 This is the second 8 week section of a 2 part course. If you have not taken part 1, please look through our class listings page and start at the beginning to enjoy the full course. In this class, the student will learn how to prepare and deliver a speech, including techniques for controlling nerves, engaging an audience, and structuring a presentation. Students will learn how to prepare and deliver a speech, including techniques for controlling nerves, engaging an audience, and structuring a presentation. They'll also learn how to use visual aids effectively and how to handle questions from an audience.
Our teacher has over 20 years of teaching experience and is a professional speaker.
Homework will be assigned each week and will involve practicing the techniques learned during class, as well as completing short writing assignments and preparing a short speech. Homework will take approximately 30-60 minutes per week.
Learners will need a notebook or paper and pen for taking notes.
Student progress will be assessed through teacher feedback on homework assignments and speeches delivered in class.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
This class does not require any content or safety warnings.
