FLEX: Preschool in Nature- Lesson, Song, Craft, and Activity Included!
Enjoy the flexibility of pre-recorded lessons, while getting quality content for your learner. Each week will have its unique theme (trees, frogs, shapes in nature, and worms) for learners to engage in a lesson, song, craft and activity.

Class Experience
Calling all nature lovers! Are you ready to join this engaging Flex course that is sure to keep your learner busy in learning!
My lessons include hands-on experiences to help make learning fun!
Each week students can expect to engage and watch at least 4 videos:
*An engaging prerecorded lesson that explains that topic. (about 10 minutes)
*Song (3-5 minutes)
*Craft (about 10 minutes)
*Activity- (5-10 minutes video explaining directions and to give an example) Activity will take place outside
I will also include several extension activities each week.
Some examples of included extra activities are sensory activities, great book recommendations, learning activities and extra crafts
Listed below are the learning topics for each week.
Week 1: The Life Cycle of a Tree
*Students will be able to understand and explain the life cycle of a tree.
Week 2: Frogs
* Students will learn about a frog’s habitat, diet and life cycle.
Week 3: Shapes in Nature
*Students will review their shapes and learn how to find them in nature.
Week 4: All About Worms
*Students will learn about the worm’s habitat and features.
How will students interact?
-Students will post their craft and pictures of themselves completing activities in the classroom. This will help us cheer each other on as we engage in learning!
-Students will also have some extension, interactive Google Slide activities.
I have taught the last 7 summers at an Arboretum for their Summer Science Camp. My FAVORITE age group was teaching preschool! They have so much knowledge to share and get so excited when learning about nature. My hope is for students to gain an appreciation for nature during the course of this class.Learning Goals
Students will be able to understand and explain each week's theme, as well as, gain appreciation for nature.
