Description
Class Experience
Writing has a process and formula. Once your child becomes comfortable with the process and formula they can start writing anything! In this class your child will learn the process and formula for writing persuasive pieces. The lessons will be differentiated for the grade level your child is in. I can adjust and monitor the lessons as your child needs. As a veteran school teacher I am experienced in identifying needs and helping students to overcome them. Here is how it works: ✏️ EVERY...
Students will complete the PearDeck each week. Students will also be doing their writing in between sessions.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
The student paper will be graded on a writing rubric.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
I will use PearDeck, FlipGrid, and Kahoot to keep students engaged. Students may need some assistance logging into these programs. Students can type their papers in whatever program works for you. Google has a very easy share option and some versions of Microsoft do as well.
