Flex Opinion Writing Class

In this Flex class, students will use the writing process to complete an opinion writing essay. 

In this course, we will explore the different parts of the writing process. Students will create a writing piece. 

Week 1- Prewriting/drafting
Week 2- Revising/Editing
Week 3- Evaluating 
Week 4- Publishing 

Weekly Lessons: 
Each week I will provide videos explaining the part of the writing process we will be working on. Students are to use the video to help them complete the worksheet/writing for that week. Writing is to be submitted weekly for feedback. Students will create and share a FlipGrid of their work. 
During week 4, students will submit their published draft of writing. Writing will have feedback, including grows and glows. 

Interaction in this Flex Class:
Videos and assignments will be posted weekly. Assignments are to be submitted weekly. Students will receive feedback on the assignment. 

Writing/worksheets will be checked and and feedback will be provided.

Supplies:
Students will need a notebook or line paper and a pencil.
