Your child will learn to stretch their creative writing ability as they are given exciting prompts and will end with beautiful projects. Students will be emersed in technology during these classes. By writing in a variety of ways, they can take these ideas and use them in future writing projects. I have enjoyed very much learning all the new apps to make writing so much more exciting and to have really cool final projects when it is all finished.
Students will complete their projects independently and then submit them for all to enjoy. Seeing what others have written will help the students with their creativity. Videos of the students sharing their work are encouraged.
Handouts and links to apps will be given on day of class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will be assessing their work by helping with editing and encouraging comments.
No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
