Description
Class Experience
Every week, the teacher will introduce new vocabulary. As a class, we will review the vocabulary through a story, game, and/or song, and use it in context throughout the class. Finally, we will read/create our own story with the new vocabulary! Each week focuses on a different topic all listed in the class description.
The best way to learn a language is to practice! I encourage students to complete all materials given to achieve their personal best at learning French. I have planned for this material to take 1-2 hours per week to complete.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There will be informal assessments in the form of “check-ins” so the teacher knows how the students are following along. The end of the week's lesson will include students speaking/writing their own versions of a story based on the vocabulary we've learned together. None of these assessments are graded, they just help the teacher and students see the language learning progress.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
All resources are free for the learner to access and the teacher will provide specific links for each week. Resources may include: Google Slides, Quizlet, YouTube, or Flipgrid
