This 4 week introductory class is for students who are brand new to using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. These programs do require a monthly subscription - some students have been able to gain access through their schools while others subscribe to the monthly fee. There is a web-based free version of Photoshop that can be used but it is ad-heavy and runs slowly so the Adobe applications are best to use for this course. Students will learn how to use the two most popular photo editing programs - Lightroom and Photoshop.
The images I edit in the videos will be provided in the classroom for students to use for practice or they can use their own images. Students who practice using these programs between videos will get the most out of this course! These programs are tricky but get easier with practice.
Use of these two photo editing programs is required for this course - they do work differently on tablets and phones - this course focuses on the full computer versions for Mac or PC.
Students will receive feedback on all images shared in class.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
