Lesson 1
The French Alphabet & Class Introduction
My lesson is about learning the distinct letter sounds in French and the pronunciation. Students will also take the opportunity to introduce themselves and share any specifics about their French experience.
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Numbers in French
My lesson is about learning the numbers in French from 1 to 100 with specific tips on how to recall some of the harder numbers in French.
 Week 3
Lesson 3
French articles
In this lesson, learners will learn how to use articles in French to describe nouns and the importance of articles in French.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
School vocabulary
Learners will learn some of the key vocabulary in the school or classroom room setting.
 Week 5
Lesson 5
Family and Friends
This lesson will provide learners with the opportunity to learn the different members of their family and how to introduce the members of the family to their friends.
 Week 6
Lesson 6
Verbs - 1st & 2nd group - ER/IR and Masculine & Feminine
My lesson is about learning how to conjugate and use verbs in a sentence starting with the first group (ER) and 2nd group (IR). Learners will also have an additional lesson of understanding masculine/feminine in French.
 Week 7
Lesson 7
Verbs - 3rd group - RE and Avoir & Etre
My lesson is about learning how to conjugate ending in (RE)
 Week 8
Lesson 8
Sentences in French
My lesson is about how to construct basic sentences in French and use of basic adjectives
 Week 9
Lesson 9
Days and months of the year
My lesson is about how to say the days and months of the year in French
 Week 10
Lesson 10
Telling time in French
My lesson is about learning how to tell the basic time in French.
This class is taught in English.
Homework Offered
Each lesson will provide minimal homework to help reinforce the lesson or provide additional practice for the student. Learners may receive handouts and supportive tools for practice. Many of the homework assignments will consist of uploading videos to practice saying new vocabulary in French and presenting their homework assignment in an interactive way.
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Learners will be assessed weekly with their video submissions, Kahoot assignments and other quiz material. As per the learners needs additional content or instruction may be provided to ensure they understand the material or on track. Office hours may also be used to ask questions or obtain further support.
Grades Offered
Learners will be provided with French workbook upon registration.
