Week 1Lesson 1The French Alphabet & Class IntroductionMy lesson is about learning the distinct letter sounds in French and the pronunciation. Students will also take the opportunity to introduce themselves and share any specifics about their French experience.Week 2Lesson 2Numbers in FrenchMy lesson is about learning the numbers in French from 1 to 100 with specific tips on how to recall some of the harder numbers in French.Week 3Lesson 3French articlesIn this lesson, learners will learn how to use articles in French to describe nouns and the importance of articles in French.Week 4Lesson 4School vocabularyLearners will learn some of the key vocabulary in the school or classroom room setting.Week 5Lesson 5Family and FriendsThis lesson will provide learners with the opportunity to learn the different members of their family and how to introduce the members of the family to their friends.Week 6Lesson 6Verbs - 1st & 2nd group - ER/IR and Masculine & FeminineMy lesson is about learning how to conjugate and use verbs in a sentence starting with the first group (ER) and 2nd group (IR). Homework Offered
Each lesson will provide minimal homework to help reinforce the lesson or provide additional practice for the student. Learners may receive handouts and supportive tools for practice. Many of the homework assignments will consist of uploading videos to practice saying new vocabulary in French and presenting their homework assignment in an interactive way.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Learners will be assessed weekly with their video submissions, Kahoot assignments and other quiz material. As per the learners needs additional content or instruction may be provided to ensure they understand the material or on track. Office hours may also be used to ask questions or obtain further support.Grades Offered
