In this 12-week class, learners will work on improving their writing through the study of Fables, Myths, and Fairy Tales. A project will be due the last week of class based on one of the assignments.

Class experience

Learners will improve their writing skills and learn how to organize their thoughts by creating outlines and compositions that follow the structure and style of IEW. They will dress up their writing by systematically adjusting parts of speech such as adverbs, strong verbs, and quality adjectives. Students will also practice varied sentence structure by using different sentence openers.
