Define key business terms and concepts Conduct market research to identify target customers Develop a marketing plan to reach those customers Create a financial plan that projects revenue, expenses, and profits Write a detailed business plan that can be used to secure funding or support for your business idea
This class is taught by a serial entrepreneur with experience starting and managing successful businesses. The instructor also has expertise in financial management and has taught a variety of topics to students of all ages.
Each week, students will complete homework assignments to develop and refine their business plans. These assignments will culminate in a final project, which will be a completed business plan ready for review and feedback.
Student progress will be assessed based on the completion of homework assignments and the final project.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
This course is appropriate for students of all ages and experience levels. Some topics may require adult supervision or guidance, such as conducting market research or developing a financial plan.
Course materials will be provided by the instructor and may include articles, videos, and worksheets.
