Description
Class Experience
Students will practice specific areas of photography as they reach their own learning goals and master new skills.
Students should plan to spend about 2 hours each week taking photos so that we can continue to evaluate progress and make adjustments to the learning goals as students master new skills.
Most students will use a camera for photography tutoring but many basic skills can be practiced on a phone or any device that takes photos so there is no specific camera requirement but they must have something to use to take photos. Students in tutoring use everything from mirrorless to DSLR cameras and phones.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will receive feedback on all images they share with us in the Outschool classroom and will get the most out of this tutoring group if they share feedback for other learners' photos as well. Students learn from both taking photos and analyzing them in this class.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
