Class Experience
Students will learn all the 8th grade math objectives through this interactive journal.
I have been an 8th-grade math teacher for the past 7 years and every year I complete an interactive journal with my students because it allows them to engage through the lessons in a fun way.
The interactive journal will be completed in class while all the students discuss what they know about each topic. It is important that students be in class every time to ensure that they complete their journal. If for some reason the student misses class I will send him/her a video on how to complete what they missed.
I will provide each student with copies of the interactive journal as the weeks go by for them to create their journal. -Printer -Scissors -Glue -Spiral Notebook
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will submit a photo of their complete journal at the end of the course
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
No parental guidance needed
