Equip teens with vital financial skills in our 4-week, asynchronous flex class! Using Google Sheets, students create balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows. Explore real examples, grasp accounting terms, and master formulas.
Class experience
In this 4-week, hands-on class learners will use Google Sheets to learn about business balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows. Using templates, learners will be introduced to basic accounting terms and formulas. This is a Flex class, so there are no live sessions. I have virtually taught over 1,000 young learners on Outschool, but prior to that I enjoyed a thirteen-year corporate career, where I often examined balance sheets, budgets and income statements. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University.
Homework Offered
Optional homework document--The optional homework will be provided via a Google Document. Students can print it out, fill it out and send back a picture OR students can type their answers right into the document and send it back to me via the classroom or message. I will provide feedback on all homework.Assessments Offered
