Description
Class Experience
By the end of the class, students will be able to define environmental sustainability, describe the causes and effects of climate change and global warming, and explain the importance of recycling for a better planet.
As an experienced educator with over two decades of teaching experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, I possess the skills and knowledge required to effectively teach individuals about the critical topics of environmental sustainability, climate change, and recycling. In addition, as an entrepreneur and technology specialist, I bring valuable insight and experience in implementing sustainable practices in businesses and using technology to promote environmental sustainability. Furthermore, my active participation and support for a range of sustainability programs demonstrate my dedication to this cause and further underscores my expertise in the field. I am confident in my ability to provide engaging, informative, and meaningful instruction that will positively impact learners' understanding of these vital topics.
Students will complete weekly homework assignments, which will be part of a larger project. Homework will take approximately 1-2 hours per week, and may involve reading, research, and creating a project.
Learner progress will be assessed through feedback on homework assignments and the project.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
