Students will learn the basics of digital marketing, including branding, social media, email marketing, and website design. They will also learn how to identify target audiences and measure the success of their campaigns.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, during which he learned the fundamental principles of digital marketing for video games, social media, and streaming sites. As a result, he understands the science behind making these products highly addictive, which is a crucial requirement for companies that generate billions of dollars in revenue from this industry. During his academic tenure, Jonathan took specific classes on digital marketing, which further enhanced his expertise in the field. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Jonathan is an expert in simplifying complex technological concepts to make them accessible to students of all levels. He has honed his skills through years of real-world experience, and he is eager to share his expertise in class with his students. Jo, the owner of several companies, has been a professional digital marketer since the inception of his first company. He brings with him years of practical experience that he readily shares with his students. His expertise, combined with Jo's academic and professional knowledge, makes for an engaging and insightful classroom experience. In Digital Marketing 101, Jo will guide students through the technology behind digital marketing, social media, and streaming sites. Students will learn practical techniques and strategies that will equip them to navigate this complex industry. With a focus on real-world applications, Jo will provide students with the tools to succeed in today's digital marketplace.
Students will complete weekly projects that build on the topics covered in class. Projects will vary and may include creating a social media post, designing a website landing page, or developing an email campaign. Homework assignments will take approximately 1-2 hours per week.
Learners will need access to a computer or tablet with internet access, as well as a notebook and pen for taking notes.
Learner progress will be assessed through feedback on homework assignments, as well as a final project that demonstrates understanding of digital marketing concepts.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Because of YouTube privacy and age requirements, I am able to provide you with instructions to create the channel, however, I am not able to open a channel for learners. No adult other than a parent is lawfully able to open a YouTube account for any minor. It takes 5 minutes to open a channel. Instructions for opening a YouTube channel are included on the course. No experience is required to take this class.
