Get ready to dive into the world of drawing! In this course, students will embark on an exciting journey to master the art of creating both realistic and anime faces. Step by step, they will uncover the secrets behind various drawing and shading techniques, enhancing their observational skills along the way. Not only will they learn to see like true artists, but they will also unleash their imagination to design unique anime characters of their own.
I specialize in character illustration and costume design, holding an MFA from Northwestern University. Over the past 7 years, I have taught a variety of art and design classes to students of all ages. The motivation behind this course comes from my passion for drawing in both anime and realistic style and character creation.
Homework Offered
Students should work on their drawings at least one hour per week.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Drawing Pencils- My suggestion for the best results is 2B, 3B and 6B Eraser Sharpener Ruler Drawing Paper Optional: Watercolor Pencils, Colored pencils and/or Markers
