In Flex Class private music lessons, learners will correspond with teachers through the Outschool classroom to progress on their instrument without the time constraint of a weekly lesson meeting time. Each 8-week session will be run by an expert music teacher on the instrument of the learner's choice: guitar, voice, piano, ukulele, viola, violin, cello, bass, songwriting, music production, arranging, or music theory.

HOW IT WORKS...
1. Sign up for a session and get paired with a teacher!
2. Answer a series of assessment questions to select an appropriate curriculum and develop a plan to meet your musical goals!
3. Teacher will post an appropriate video assignment tailored to the students' needs
4. Student will respond with a video completing the assignment
5. Teacher will respond with video feedback
6. Student will then respond with changes from feedback video
7. Teacher will move student on to the next activity when student demonstrates mastery of each concept

There is no limit to how many activities you can complete each week! This course will flow at the pace of the student.

WHO WOULD BENEFIT FROM CORRESPONDENCE LESSONS?
- This video lesson format would be extremely beneficial for busy students who wish to continue their musical studies at their own pace within the time constraints of other activities.
- Perfect for students who prefer to not socialize with teachers or other students as there is an option to simply show your hands on your instrument.
- Students who are looking for instruction on high level concepts and not able to find qualified teachers that fit their schedule.
- Students who are able to move quickly through material!
- Families who are looking to participate in private lessons at a lower price point than live meetings.

Each session will be personalized based on each students' needs and current level! ALL ages and abilities are welcome to join!
