Class Experience

In this 4 week flex class, we will do different science experiments using the Scientific Method! Each week, students will observe and discuss different experiments. Students will be asked to draw/discuss their observations. Student will use the record video to share their observations. Students will complete other interactive assignments throughout the class. 


Week 1 - Let's make it rain!
Week 2 - Let's make a lava lamp!
Week 3 - Let's make a rainbow with Skittles
Week 4 - Let's make...

Students will complete science experiments using the scientific method.

Students will complete weekly activities.

Students will need supplies to complete weekly experiments. 
Week 1 - Clear cup, shaving cream (not gel version), food coloring, dropper or pipettes 
Week 2 - Cup, vegetable oil, water, food coloring, Alka Seltzer tablets 
Week 3 - Plate, skittles, cup, water 
Week 4 - Plate, corn Starch and Water

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Nearpod

No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

Students will be completing science experiences. Students may need parental supervision. 

Students will be using outside resources - Nearpod. 
Students will be viewing lessons in videos on Google Slides.
