Hello! In this art class, we will explore the beauty of the natural world through painting different flowers in acrylic paint. Each week features a different flower. Class is FLEXIBLE and there will be NO live meetings!! This will give learners plenty of time complete paintings. Class will mostly consist of a series of instructional videos, and interaction between students is not required. However, participation is highly encouraged and the classroom page is always available for questions,...
Students will complete the 10 paintings according to the time they have in their own schedule.
10 canvases or canvas paper, brushes in a variety of sizes (including sponges), old cloth for wiping spills, water cup, palette for mixing paint, aluminum foil (for preserving mixed paint), paint in a variety of colors (minimum red, blue, yellow, black, and white), and protective gear such as a smock and tablecloth for protecting surfaces from paint.
No formal assessment, but the student has completed the course after producing the 10 paintings.
No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
