As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.
Lots of paper (a sketchbook, preferably devoted to anime drawings, is strongly recommended. Students can track their progress and keep all study sketches in one place).
pencils, eraser, pencil sharpener
For final copy, tools for outlining, such as an ultra-fine point Sharpie or Micron pen, and colored pencils or other coloring tools may be used.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students are welcome to use any books on Anime they already own, but purchase of a book is not required.
