Class Experience
To learn how to play and perform a melody and chord progression on ukulele To learn how to read tablature for ukulele To be able to recognize the parts of the ukulele To hold and tune the ukulele
Practice is essential for students' success in this course! Learners will be expected to complete individual practice assignments and contribute to the group activities. Students should expect to spend 2-3 hours every week completing the class assignments.
Students must own their own ukulele to participate. A clip on tuner or the GuitarTuna app is also recommended.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
- Kahoot!
- YouTube
- GuitarTuna
No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Parents may need to assist students in using the outside resources such as Kahoot!, and YouTube. Parents may also need to assist students in tuning ukuleles before practice.
