I love cooking and baking! I have been doing both for over 15 years. I started out helping my mom and dad make meals. My sister and I used to have cooking shows and pretended to have our own restaurant. Currently, I am a mom of 2 boys and am always making something in the kitchen. Like all kids, they go through picky stages and I have to get creative. I love experimenting with new recipes and baked goods. I have a lifestyle blog where I occasionally release recipes, as well.
No homework but this is a flex class meaning all work is done outside of a live meeting.
Ingredients list will be sent out when you sign up for the class as it varies per month. Common supplies include: Measuring cups/spoons Mixing bowls Oven Baking sheet/pan (varies based on recipes) Stand mixer/hand mixer (Not required but recommended)
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
This is a hands on baking class so your child will be using the oven and other kitchen utensils. Please make sure your student is aware of how to use an oven and kitchen utensils such as measuring spoons, cups, mixer, and potentially a microwave. As for any allergens, let me know ahead of time and we can swap out ingredients to fit your child’s needs.
