Description
Class Experience
The Oregon Trail was 2,170 miles long and is considered the longest graveyard in North America. Students will be given the opportunity to sell their characters belongs, purchase the supplies necessary, and begin their trip across the trail beginning in the year 1848..they will have one week to complete their mission. The course is designed to engage students while they learn historical facts, practice math, negation, problem-solving, and life skills while they brainstorm ways to survive...
I have over fifteen years of experience teaching elementary, middle, and high school history and social studies lessons. The Oregon trail was a favorite as a child; this course allows me to share the fun with other students from around the world.
Worksheets will provided prior to class that MUST be printed.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
