The goals for learners in this class are:

To understand the history, current state, and future of money, cryptocurrency and blockchain
To be able to invest in and use cryptocurrency
To have a knowledge of different types of altcoins and their characteristics and potential use cases
To have an understanding of the underlying technology and principles of blockchain
To have knowledge about the legal and ethical considerations surrounding cryptocurrency
To be able to identify the potential future applications of blockchain technology
To be able to understand personal finance and investing and how it relates to crypto
To learn how to manage risk and diversify in a crypto portfolio
To be familiar with future trends and predictions in the crypto space.

Jo teaches bitcoin and finance classes on Outschool, for the last 2 years. As a serial entrepreneur who founded three successful companies before the age of 30, my drive to succeed in life began in my teens when I realised the power of positive motivation. He was lucky enough to have a good mentor who guided me through the intricacies of financial management which helped me to understand the value of money, how to identify and seize opportunities to make money and how to manage an investment portfolio. He has been investing in cryptocurrencies for the last 6 years as a professional investor. 

He holds a Bachelors degree and also teaches life skills to children and adults across the world.

Each week, there will be approximately 20 - 30 minutes of homework assigned to help participants develop and apply the ideas taught in class to their own lives.

No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
