FLEX: Baby Yoda, Pikachu & Pokemon Christmas and New Year's Drawings and Craft
In this FLEX class, learners will be guided to draw Yoda in a gift box and Pikachu dressed as an elf. Using simple materials, we will create a Yoda Santa ornament and a New Year's Eve Poke-Ball Drop craft. Fun holiday facts presented!

Each week, I will upload a recording to the classroom. I will start each recording with fun holiday facts, accompanied by pictures. I will then give step-by-step instructions on how to create the weekly drawing or craft. During the recordings, I will have different screens visible, so that students can see me speaking at the start of each recording and then watch my hands as I draw and create the crafts. This will allow learners to follow along with my instructions. I will break each step...
I always enjoyed art as a child, and continued to take art classes at the college level and as an adult. I enjoy using art to teach and engage online learners.
Weeks 1 and 3 Paper Pencil and Eraser Black marker for outlining (optional) Colored pencils, crayons, or markers Week 2 Construction or colored paper (one piece of each: green, red, white, black, pink, yellow. All, except green, can be substituted with white paper and a marker or crayon.) Glue stick (can use liquid glue as a substitute) Scissors A cup or glass to trace String, twine or ribbon about 12 inches long Pencil Week 4 Paper plate (can use white paper as a substitute) Red marker or red paint and paintbrush Black construction paper 2 pieces of paper (white or light color suggested) Scissors Tape or glue Colored pencils, crayons, or markers
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and no time outside of class.
Weeks 2 and 4 will involve cutting with scissors. Please monitor your learner's safety during these projects.
