Class Experience
THIS IS A FLEX CLASS AS IT DOES NOT MEET LIVE. This ASL part 1 class does NOT meet live. I also offer ASL classes in an on-going live class setting where the classes will be taught live. My ASL flex classes are offered in 4 sections, ASL 1-4. Over 6 weeks, students will gain knowledge of the deaf and hard of hearing world and learn how to communicate using ASL. I am a CODA, which is a child of a deaf adult. I have been signing my whole life as both of my parents are profoundly deaf and it is my first language. I have a BA degree, years experience working with the deaf and teaching.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
