What's included
Homework
1-2 hours per week. Homework will be based on the concept of the first weekly video. Support is offered by asking questions in the classroom and using the second weekly video for clarification. Assignment completion is the goal for practicing the material independently.Assessment
The Friday video will include a 10 point assessment. Submission as part of class is expected. Learners should submit all homework through the classroom. Questions from learners should be submitted in the classroom or through Outschool "Conversations."Grading
Weekly quizzes are graded at submission for 10 points each. Weekly homework submitted will be given 1 point each week. The class will have 132 points possible. A certificate of completion will be given to students earning above 93 points for the whole class.Class Experience

Advanced Level
This course will teach essential Algebra 2 concepts that are geared for creating preparedness in College Algebra, Statistics, and Engineering. Successful completion of Algebra 1, integers, and basic calculations knowledge without a calculator is helpful. Instruction is available on Mondays. Homework will be provided for the week. Fridays are assessment days. The first session is set to go over new material, observe examples, take notes, and receive homework for the week. Send questions via Outschool conversations/Outschool classroom if clarification is needed for any topic by Wednesdays. The second session will present a challenge question example and practice that extends the Monday concept. This concept helps to continue concept practice and experience true questions presented in college Algebra. The following outlines about 40 College Algebra/Engineering/Statistics preparedness concepts that will be covered in this 12 weeks. Currently, I teach 7-12 mathematics in a private school setting, including college preparatory Algebra 2 and Trigonometry. I hold a current Master of Arts in Education degree from a large university in the state of Missouri.
