Class Experience
In this 4-week prerecorded course, leaners will learn to explore and identify their emotions, ways to manage them; growth mindset; kindness and conflict resolution. Materials will be delivered mainly in English, with key highlights in Cantonese and Jyutping (romanization system for Cantonese). This course is best for learners with at least few months of Cantonese learning, and support from a grown-up helper who has a basic understanding of Jyutping. The focus of this class is not on Cantonese speaking skills. This class aims to provide an opportunity for learners to connect and understand social-emotional skills using Cantonese.
- Native Cantonese speaker - Master of Social Work - Honours in Bachelor of Science: Double Major in Linguistics and Psychology - Bachelor of Social Work - Certification in Solution-focused therapy - Certification in Motivational Interviewing therapy
