People often feel a little intimidated starting to learn a new aspect of math but, Cam is here to make sure you will fully understand how to add and subtract fractions. He is currently an Engineering Management student at one of the top universities in Canada. He has found hidden tricks to help solve various math problems. Each week you will learn different aspects about adding and subtracting fractions. First, it will start off relatively simple then will get more complex as we add more material to each question. Weekly Schedule Week 1: Add fractions with the same denominator Week 2: Rearrange to find a common denominator for addition Week 3: Subtract using the same denominators Week 4: Rearrange to find a common denominator for subtraction Each week will consist of a video lesson and quiz on Nearpod. Students will then create 5 math problems and post them in the Outschool classroom for the other leaders in the class to solve. Please note: All transfers to another time must be done at least 24 hours before. Please ensure that the class time(s) works with your schedule.

Students will need something to write on (paper, white board, etc) and something to write with (pencil, pen, marker, etc).
