This class is the FLEX version of my Multi-Day Fall Acrylic Painting Art Set: Create 4 Easy Paintings! (Ages 7-12)

This is a flexible schedule class with NO LIVE MEETINGS. I will be using weekly video instructions to walk students through the steps to create 4 acrylic fall-themed paintings! Each student will be able to watch the video instructions on their own schedule. Students will be provided videos, instructions, and a homework assignment on MONDAY of the scheduled week. All homework paintings will be due by FRIDAY if students would like constructive feedback from the teacher. Turning in homework each week is not required, but is a great way for students to get some feedback about their artwork. Each week we will complete a new piece of art independent of the previous week's painting. No painting experience is required! I will walk you through all the steps to create your own masterpiece. Acrylic paints, brushes, and a canvas will be needed for this class. Please see the supply list for all the details. 

Weekly Engagement
- 1 video each week explaining that week's painting
- Weekly class discussions on that week's painting
- Weekly feedback from the class and teacher through the classroom or private message
- All videos, and messages will be done through the Outschool classroom.

CLASS OUTLINE
For homework students should plan to spend 1 hour a week working on their painting, using their instruction videos and class discussion. Learner progress will be evaluated through in-progress photos of their work posted to the classroom on Friday (if desired) The teacher will provide individual feedback and guidance for each student. Students are encouraged to interact with each other as well and can provide constructive feedback in the classroom to their classmates throughout the course. 

Week 1: Jack-O-Lantern
We will paint a pumpkin together and each student can be creative and create their own jack-o-lantern face design!
We will be completing a pretty fall tree painting and focus on creating some texture with our brushstrokes. 

Week 2: Pumpkin Stack
We will paint a cute pumpkin stack, and work on blending.

Week 3: Fall Trees
We will be completing a pretty fall tree painting and focus on creating some texture with our brushstrokes. 

Week 4: Fall Cat
We will create our fall cat together and learn about using a pencil to create outlines before painting.
