I have a dual bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education and am certified to teach special education ages 3-21. Currently, I work as an intervention coordinator where I create interventions based on individual student needs.
In addition to the printable PDF resources for the class, the following supplies will be needed: Scissors Glue Markers, Crayons, Pencils, etc... Construction Paper (Variety of Colors) Cardstock (White) Individual Prong Fasteners (Similar to the prongs found in folders, but individually) PomPoms Craft Paint Paint Brush Pipe Cleaners
Learner progress is assessed based on their mastery of kindergarten common core standards - which are linked in resources. A formal kindergarten skills inventory may be provided upon request to document your child's progress related to the standards covered within the course.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is advised to ensure safe use of scissors - required throughout the course. Additionally, students will be using small beads which could present a choking hazard for very young children.
