In this 8 week FLEX course students will learn 55 essential vocabulary words. Students will learn 6-10 new words per week, how to use the word in correct context, and practice using the words in a short writing assignment.

Description
Class Experience
Vocabulary is a key component to students understanding of tasks given, reading comprehension, and speaking/listening skills. In this 8 week FLEX course students will learn the 55 essential vocabulary words, focusing on 6-10 words specifically per week. Each week instruction will be delivered through introducing the new vocabulary words, giving tools/resources to find definitions of unknown words, how to use the words in correct context, and ending with a short writing assignment. At week #4...
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please note that students will be using a third party external learning tool: Kahoot.
