Upcoming 3/29 session - the very important G to C transition and how to land all 3 fingers at once! This transition is the hardest, but this session is a game changer and allows kids to move from “pause and play” to making music. This supplemental session is designed exclusively to teach muscle memory so that students can form chords using finger shapes. When students learn that chords are formed with finger shapes vs. simply placing fingers on strings, the lightbulb moment happens, and I can teach them to transition faster. As a Language Arts, Techology and Intro to Guitar teacher, with three decades of experience, I can tell you that sometimes traditional methods led by a teacher seem much easier to learners who are trying to tackle it on their own.
