Class Experience

In this multi-day class students will learn the cause and facts from the American Revolution.
I am a Social Studies teacher certified in the state of Texas in the United States. I have taught the American Revolution in my past 7 years of teaching both American History up till 1877 and World Geography Contemporary Issues. I have taken several professional development classes in understanding different cultures through art, media, and their different religions.
Students my be assigned readings to prepare for discussions during class.
Occasionally articles to read will be sent ahead of time.
Students will write a essay on do they feel wee have fulfilled what the revolution was about or if we are still a work in progress.
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
In this class we are going to be discussing human rights. In the history of the United States there have been challenges to certain groups and human rights. Students will be asked to look at human rights through multiple perspectives.
