Flash Fiction & Microfiction: Writing 100-, 50-, and 6-Word Short Stories (Camp)

Flash fiction is a fun creative writing challenge: Can you write a big story using few words? In this camp, you'll write a drabble (100 words), a dribble (50 words), and a 6-word story (...well, you can guess).

Description

Class Experience

Students will explore the fundamental elements of literature, and they will increase proficiency in word choice, sentence structure, style, and concision (writing in a clear, straightforward, uncluttered way).
After each class, students will write one or more of that day's story type (a dribble, a drabble, or a six-word story). They can post it on the classroom page for teacher and peer feedback.
I will post feedback on all the stories that are posted on the class page (one per student per class).
2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
A couple stories are sad, such as this one, considered the original six-word story (erroneously attributed to Hemingway): "For sale: baby shoes, never worn."
