Description
Class Experience
This one-time class provides an engaging introduction to flash fiction. We will discuss what flash fiction is and isn't, look at a few examples, and get started writing using fun and interesting prompts. My teaching style is very hands-on and in this context that means engaging students in sharing their knowledge, creating an inclusive and safe space, and focusing on each student's strengths and gifts. I've led creative writing classes for 9 years in public high schools and love writing and teaching flash fiction!
