In this 2 day class, students will learn how to write a five paragraph essay. We will walk through a planning page together, learn about hooks, write our papers, edit them to add adjectives and transitions and finally share them in class.

Students will be taught how to write a five paragraph opinion essay starting from the planning stages and working all the way to a final revised draft. On day one, students will be provided with a planning page. I will model how to complete the planning page and work through at the students' pace to ensure that a strong plan is generated by all. Students will learn how to write a five paragraph essay. Students will further their understanding of what a hook is, how to edit their essays and the writing process.
A double -sided planning page will be provided to the student pen/pencil lined paper
A written report will be provided to learners who submit their essays within 48 hours of class completion.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
A prepared PowerPoint will be used to present the information in a Screen-share view.
