Class Experience

In this class, the students will listen to the fingerplay Five Little Turkeys written by Amy Brown for the first read-through. The students will also be looking at pictures that match each section of the fingerplay while they listen. This is a fall theme, so if you do not celebrate Thanksgiving it will be fine for your child. The students will make paper turkey puppets using a printout that I will provide. Then the students will practice retelling the story using their puppets. All students will be encouraged to participate in the retelling. The students will also practice counting the turkeys and identifying the rhyming words. If time allows, we will do another retelling with the students each being assigned to a turkey.
