Class Experience
In this class, the students will listen to the fingerplay Five Little Seahorses written by Amy Brown for the first read-through. The students will also be looking at pictures that match each section of the fingerplay while they listen. The students will make a paper seahorse puppet using a printout that I will provide. Then the students will practice retelling the story using their puppets. All students will be encouraged to participate in the retelling. The students will also practice...
The students will need the seahorses cutout that I will send to you before class. Please help your child cut out the seahorses before class. They will need crayons, markers, or colored pencils to color the seahorses. They will need popsicle sticks, straws, or something to put their fish on. They will need tape to keep their seahorses attached.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
